We woke up at 5am this morning to walk to the Novotel, where we took the coach on our full day tour. We thought about sneaking into the Novotel buffet breakfast, but decided against it and had brekkie at the 24hr Maccas across the road. At this point I looked up the AFL grand Final scores. Collingwood were leading by 4 points hallway thru the 3rd quarter. For the rest of the day, I was thinking Collingwood had gone back to back. Not until we got back to the hotel, at 10pm did I hear that Geelong had a huge final quarter to win by 6 goals.
Windsor Castle was first stop, a 900 year old castle where the queen lives 60 days of the year. Views overlooking Windsor and Eton College were amazing. Actual castle was full of old stuff. Queen Mary’s dolls house was interesting. We had 90 min to race around the castle before jumping back on the coach. We did manage to see the changing of the Windsor guards in this time
